7th Annual Lone Star Cup
Match Play Tournament

The South Central Section of the Executive Women’s Golf Association, EWGA, will hold this year’s Lone Star Cup Match Play Tournament at the White Bluff Resort in Whitney, Texas (www.whitebluffresort.com), only 90 minutes south of Dallas. Rated 4 stars by Golf Digest, the resort’s beautiful New and Old courses are sure to delight all participants.

This 2-day team match play competition is open to each Chapter in the South Central Section of the EWGA. Following the Solheim Cup style, the Chapters will play each other in team and individual match play format.

Additionally, two days of Fun Play tournaments will be held, so that other Chapter members and friends can join the weekend event.

During the Lone Star Cup weekend, the White Bluff Resort is offering special rates for The Inn and condos to tournament players and guests.

The weekend event also includes a Friday evening social, Saturday evening banquet and Sunday awards luncheon.

The Lone Star Cup Committee is working on the details, including the room rates, tournament cost, team rules, schedule, practice rounds and social events and will be providing them to each participating Chapter as they are available.

A fee of $120 is required from each Chapter that enters. This fee is in addition to the individual team player fee. Each participating Chapter is asked to provide a representative to serve on the Lone Star Cup Committee that manages this event.
